Ribbed Bomber and Varsity Jackets for Women

The bomber does the shoulder seasons, when a coat is too warm by midday and a jumper is not enough at night. Rib at the collar, cuff and hem closes the openings where the wind gets in. That is most of what keeps a short jacket warm. Ours sit shorter through the body than the men's, so a bomber finishes at the hip and closes over a knit. Worn open over a tee it carries a warm afternoon, and closed it takes the walk home.

Wearing a Bomber Through Autumn and Spring

Autumn and spring are when this jacket earns its keep, though a satin or wool body carries into winter under a bigger coat. Black runs deepest here, with navy, khaki and a soft pink behind it. Sleeves sit clean enough for work, and the cut takes a dress as easily as denim. Our men's bomber jackets run the same idea in a longer body, and our women's jackets and vests hold the parkas, puffers and shells for worse weather.
