All Tops

Summer moves a top from a collar to a crew neck. A rugby top has a stiff collar and a short placket you can leave open. A polo does the same job in a lighter knit. A crew neck or a henley drops the collar and keeps the neckline soft.

Polo Shirts, Rugby Shirts and Henley Tops

A rugby top and a polo shirt are the same idea in two weights. A rugby top has a collar that stands up on its own and a placket short enough to wear open, so it still looks deliberate with nothing over the top. A polo sits closer to the body and goes under a jacket without adding bulk. A henley keeps the placket and drops the collar, so it lands between a polo and a tee. Our women's rugby tops hold that side on its own.

Jerseys, Striped Tops and Long Sleeve Styles

After the neck comes the sleeve. A short sleeve top is the summer one and takes a jacket over it in autumn. A long sleeve top does the same work with the arm covered, which is what stretches a wardrobe past the months a tee can cover. Men's tops and women's tops split the two sides, and long sleeve tops gathers the covered-arm ones together. The neckline you already reach for settles the sleeve without any extra thought.
