Easy returns
We are confident that you will be happy with your purchase, however if for any reason this is not the case, we offer the option to return for all items purchased directly with us (either online at or in-store) within 28 days of the order date.

Please kindly note if you have purchased in-store and are wishing for a return or exchange, you will need to take them back to the store that you originally purchased them from, as the store has captured your funds. Our online Customer Care team will be unable to assist as we do operate separately from in-store We do apologise for any inconvenience!

We have 3 conditions for return due to a change of mind:
  • 1. Items must be returned within 28 days of the order date;
  • 2. Items must be purchased from an official Superdry retail store or and still hold the original receipt for proof of purchase (please use Store Locator to find your preferred Superdry retail store). Proof of purchase can be in the form of a confirmation email or bank statement or PayPal proof of purchase;
  • 3. Items must be unworn with the original tags still attached – we are unable to accept returns with dirty marks or wear damage;
You may return your order to any Superdry Australia store, or our Superdry Auckland store in New Zealand (please note our Queenstown and Sylvia Park stores are not currently accepting returns), excluding Myer concessions.
Do not post your return to a Superdry store, as this will not be accepted. We can only process returns in-store when they are brought to us in person. We reserve the right to refuse the return if these conditions are not adhered to. Please note you cannot return items purchased from other retailers outside the Superdry network.

How do I request a return or refund?
We provide an easy to use returns system for you to request your return! You only require two pieces of information to request your return:
  • 1. Order ID # (can be found in your confirmation email)
  • 2. Email address used to place the original order

Please note:

  • Returns will not be accepted without a valid return authorisation slip
  • Superdry will not take responsibility for returned items not received if registered post and/or tracking is not used.
  • Postage cost for returned items is at the cost of the customer.

How do I exchange an item?
You are able to exchange or return a product to any Superdry Australia store, or our Superdry Auckland store in New Zealand (please note our Queenstown and Sylvia Park stores are not currently accepting returns or exchanges), excluding Myer concessions.. We recommend you call ahead to avoid disappointment (please use the Store Locator to contact your preferred Superdry retail store). Note, items cannot be returned to an independent stockist.

If you are unable to access one of our stores, you will need to contact us here so we can assist you in organising a return and refund.

Proof of Purchase will be required for all refunds and exchanges. If your item(s) were purchased with PayPal, you will be required to show your PayPal proof of purchase. Please note you cannot exchange items purchased from other retailers outside the Superdry network.

Please also note you are unable to exchange any items instore if you have purchased with Afterpay and will need to either return for a refund instore or contact our customer support team so we can assist you in organising a return and refund.

How long will it take for me to receive my refund?
Refunds will automatically be processed back onto the credit card or PayPal account used to make the original purchase once we have received your items. Please allow up to 10 working days for your refund to be processed. If you live in New Zealand, processing times can take up to 15 days. Please keep in mind your financial institution can take an extra few days to return the funds to your account.

Afterpay & Zip returns
You are more than welcome to return your Afterpay or Zip order online or in store for a refund provided it meets with our returns conditions above. Your Afterpay or Zip balance will be reduced to reflect the new order total once the refund has been processed. Refunds can take up to 5 business days once processed. We are unable to exchange any Afterpay or Zip orders online or in store.

Returns of items purchased at Superdry samples and seconds sales
Items sold at samples and seconds sales may include defects or flaws or may not be suited to your planned purpose for them. These items may also vary in some way from the equivalent items sold instore or online, including (but not limited to) appearance, colour, fabric, feel and finishing. Please examine these items carefully before purchase and satisfy yourself as to their suitability. Superdry does not offer refunds or returns on these items.

What if the item I have purchased is faulty?
We take extreme care in ensuring our goods are of the highest quality. However, if for any reason you find a fault with one of our products, you will be entitled to the following remedies under the Australian Consumer Law:
  • 1. Exchange or refund of products for major failure or faults; or
  • 2. Exchange if the product fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure is not a major failure.
In assessing a claim for faulty products, the Australian Consumer Law allows us to take into account how much time has passed since you bought the product, how the product has been used, the length of time for which it is reasonable for the product to be used and the amount of use the product could reasonably be expected to tolerate before the failure becomes noticeable.
