Black Friday jeans: slim, straight, skinny and wide leg

Rise changes the shape more than the fit name does. The same slim jean in a high rise and a mid rise wear differently enough to be worth choosing deliberately rather than by accident, because the rise decides where the waistband sits and therefore how long the leg reads. A high rise shortens the visual leg and lengthens the body. A mid rise does the opposite, and is the more forgiving of the two if the jean is going to be worn with a shirt out.
